Vanilla in all its forms is an alternative to the vanilla bean. These forms make it easy to flavor a dessert or a dish. It's also a way to get rid of storage and dosage issues… without compromising quality or aromatic strength! NOROHY has therefore developed a complete range of vanilla products for you, pastry lovers, in all forms, especially those most respectful of this noble raw material. Let's explore vanilla in all its forms: from vanilla extract or concentrate, to vanilla bean paste or vanilla bean powder, before focusing on the perfect amount of vanilla.

  • Vanilla extract

NOROHY has created a vanilla extract also known as natural vanilla flavor. It is the result of macerating vanilla beans in several baths of alcohol. All that remains of this decanted, filtered and evaporated mixture is the fragrant oleoresin. The result is vanilla concentrate. For easier dosage, this concentrate is diluted in cane sugar syrup and topped with vanilla beans for palatability. Vanilla extract is ideal for creams and mousses, as well as homemade chocolate sweets. Count on 20g of extract per kilo of preparation, depending on the desired intensity.

  • Vanilla bean pastes

NOROHY also offers two vanilla bean pastes. One brings to your recipes the typical woody notes of Madagascar vanilla, the other the floral and aniseed aromas characteristic of Papua New Guinea. The latter is still exclusively reserved for gastronomy professionals. Vanilla bean paste combines vanilla extract and vanilla beans in a single jar. No need to scrape or infuse your beans, saving you precious time! Last but not least, this paste is easy to measure out with a spoon.

  • Vanilla powder

For dry doughs like brioches, think vanilla powder. It’s also perfect for sprinkling on toppings for decoration. These are finely ground, extraction-grade vanilla beans. 3 g of NOROHY vanilla powder flavors one kilo of preparation. What’s more, NOROHY Madagascar vanilla powder is organic… making vanilla easier to use in the kitchen!

  • Tadoka, one-step single-use vanilla

To make dosing even easier and combine the aromas of two vanilla varieties, NOROHY has created TADOKA. The perfect amount of vanilla combines the aniseed and floral notes of Papua New Guinea vanilla with the woodier notes of Madagascar vanilla. Melt TADOKA or grate this dose of vanilla into your preparation. Wow effect guaranteed!

Characteristics of NOROHY vanilla products

  • Clean-label recipes

These vanilla products are still the most natural, raw ingredients available. In fact, our recipes include only the necessary ingredients. These are clean-label recipes. No preservatives, artificial flavors or additives are added. The composition of NOROHY vanilla products includes only vanilla beans and cane sugar syrup (and a little cocoa butter for TADOKA).

  • Advantages of vanilla products

Over the years, NOROHY has forged strong links with producers and chefs alike. This proximity has given rise to high-quality vanilla products. Our aim was to save you time without sacrificing ingredient quality or naturalness. To achieve this, NOROHY used extraction-quality vanilla beans. We have also developed this range of vanilla-based products with renowned chefs. Each NOROHY vanilla-based product has been tested in numerous sweet and savory recipes. While the vanilla bean remains the queen of the kitchen, vanilla-based products are no less high quality. They are particularly appreciated by top chefs for their intense aromas. Last but not least, this range really saves time: no more complex infusions or scraping of pods. Vanilla-based products offer instant flavouring and are easy to dose. What’s more, these vanilla-based products do not replace the use of vanilla beans. In fact, they complement vanilla beans. For example, vanilla extract accentuates the woody, camphor notes of the pods for even greater intensity. The same goes for powdered vanilla pods sprinkled over a cake, perfuming and decorating it in a single gesture. Find out more in our dedicated section!
