Organic floral waters are a simple, natural way to add delicate floral notes to your recipes. Now imagine yourself out for a stroll on a warm, sunny day… The fruit trees are fragrant, the roses languidly spread their petals in the sun. And what if you could capture these sweet scents in a gourmet recipe? This is precisely the challenge that NOROHY has taken up by creating a range of organic floral waters. Say goodbye to nauseating, artificial aromas, and make way for fresh, flowery touches! Let's continue our walk to discover how NOROHY bottled these flowers…

  • What is distilled floral water?

Organic floral waters are distilled from fresh flowers. Although distillation often brings to mind rum, not a single drop of alcohol is involved in the production process… It’s all about water scented with flowers. No added flavouring or alcohol! The flowers are picked one by one and left to rest overnight. They are then poured into a large vat filled with water and heated. Water vapour passes through the petals, charged with fragrant molecules. It rises in the distillation column and transforms into aromatic drops. This distillation yields essential oil and floral water. These two liquids separate by settling, thanks to their difference in density. NOROHY opts for double distillation to ensure the aromatic intensity of your recipes.

  • Chef’s organic floral waters for you

Floral waters are a prized ingredient for chefs, pastry chefs, chocolatiers and ice-cream makers. Mixed in with the preparations, they add a refined floral note to their creations. Simple to use, they can be easily incorporated into all your mousses, creams, ganaches, ice creams… In patisserie, floral waters offer subtle floral nuances. In ice cream, they reveal freshness and refinement through gourmet notes. Savoury cuisine also offers surprising combinations with floral waters. Finally, in the chocolate industry, they delicately flavor ganaches and enable delicious fruity combinations.
