To make organic Bourbon vanilla extract suitable for all applications, it is seed-free. It’s also worth noting that the vanilla seeds usually added don’t add any extra flavor. Their only benefit is visual (and a slight crunch…). However, seeds have a major drawback that we’ve chosen to spare you. Seeds have a different density to extract. The risk of sedimentation in your preparations is therefore real. With NOROHY Organic Bourbon vanilla extract, you can avoid this pitfall! It is ideal for homogeneous preparations: ganaches, mousses, creams, ice creams, yogurts, flavored alcohols (beer, cocktails…).

This extract saves you considerable time: no more splitting, scraping and infusing vanilla beans, and no more waiting for the mixture to cool. What’s more, you don’t need any technical skills to use it: just measure it out and mix it to flavor your preparations. Another advantage: unlike infusion, there’s no need to heat up the preparation. Norohy US organic Bourbon vanilla extract is ideal for flavoring all your preparations. NOROHY organic Bourbon vanilla extract contains no sugar, so it can be used to flavor both sweet and savory recipes. In pastry, it is used particularly for mousses and creams: crème pâtissière, namelaka, Chantilly… It is also ideal for making ice cream.
Depending on the desired intensity, add 30 to 40 g of organic, seed-free vanilla extract per kilo of preparation. The vanilla notes are instantly perceptible. Store at room temperature (60-75°C) for up to 3 months after opening, away from direct sunlight and heat.
NOROHY has chosen to make its US vanilla extract from ORGANIC vanilla beans. As we have nothing to hide, here’s our recipe: vanilla and alcohol… that’s all! The rest comes from the know-how of our extractor. What’s the story? Our vanilla extract is made by macerating organic Bourbon vanilla beans in successive baths of alcohol. The macerate is then evaporated, decanted and filtered. The result is oleoresin or vanilla concentrate. Dosing this oleoresin would be difficult because of its high concentration: a high-precision balance would be needed. It is then diluted in alcohol to become vanilla extract.
Vanilla beans are carefully selected to meet exacting specifications. To ensure consistent aromatic strength, we only use vanilla beans with an optimal vanillin content. Harvested when ripe for their best aromatic richness, our beans are self-sufficient. We therefore add no flavorings, flavor enhancers or caramel. Norohy vanilla extract is all vanilla and alcohol!
Vanillin is the dominant aromatic molecule in Madagascar vanilla planifolia. To ensure that our seed-free extract gives your recipes the characteristic notes of this vanilla, we guarantee a high vanillin content. To achieve this, our vanilla beans meet stringent quality criteria (moisture content, extraction quality, vanillin content, etc.). Finally, since our extraction process is controlled, we can guarantee this vanillin content. This is why we clearly display the vanillin content on every bottle of NOROHY vanilla extract.
At NOROHY, our products contain no colorants or additives. We incorporate only the essential ingredients into our recipes. For example, our seed-free organic vanilla extract contains only concentrated organic vanilla extract and organic cane sugar syrup. The latter facilitates the dosage of the extract, which would otherwise be too concentrated.
