What is NOROHY VANIFUSION Organic Madagascar Vanilla Paste?

Each component of vanilla (beans, seeds, pulp…) plays a role in providing complementary aromatic notes. VANIFUSION vanilla bean paste has been developed to facilitate the use of vanilla. It combines all the components of the bean to convey its full aromatic richness. It was developed with the help of chefs from the Ecole Valrhona and customers who are passionate about vanilla. VANIFUSION NOROHY Madagascar vanilla paste is also a clean label recipe. This means it includes no additives or flavor enhancers. Only vanilla and a little sugar… In fact, NORORY’s Madagascar vanilla paste is made exclusively from :

  • VANILLA OLEORESIN, obtained by macerating ripe beans in alcohol, distilling and diluting in cane sugar syrup. Intense, woody, vanilla aromas guaranteed!
  • cane sugar syrup to help preserve it;
  • but also POWDERED VANILLA BEANS for the characteristic woody notes of the vanilla bean;
  • and finally, EXHAUSTED VANILLA SEEDS, for a light crunch and a feast for the eyes.

NOROHY calls it a “vanilla bean paste”, not a “vanilla paste”… We also wanted to make vanilla easier to use. NOROHY has therefore designed a vanilla paste that is easy to store, measure and incorporate.

Why and how to flavor your recipes with vanilla bean paste? Applications dosages

Splitting vanilla beans, scraping them, then infusing them in milk takes time and means that milk has to be added to the preparation... With VANIFUSION Madagascar vanilla bean paste, you save time and can add it to all your sweet recipes! Easy to store and measure, vanilla bean paste also preserves the full range of aromas characteristic of Madagascar vanilla. A must for your desserts, cakes, chocolates and homemade ice creams!

Applications

VANIFUSION Madagascar Vanilla Paste is designed to add the perfect flavor to your sweet recipes. Mousses, ganaches, marshmallows, macaroons, creams (pastry and custard) and vanilla ice creams will no longer hold any secrets for you! Enjoy intense, natural aromatic notes…

Dosage

Easy to store and measure, NOROHY Madagascar vanilla paste is also easy to incorporate into your recipes. 5 g of vanilla paste is equivalent to 3 g of beans. Depending on the desired intensity, add half a spoonful of vanilla bean paste per kilo of preparation.

VANIFUSION A paste of vanilla beans from Madagascar

Madagascar's equatorial climate and lush flora make it an island renowned for its vanilla production. The species produced is vanilla planifolia, a variety highly prized in pastry-making. The unique terroir also gives the beans a specific aromatic profile. The typical notes of this vanilla are both camphorated and woody, reminiscent of rum raisin. Add the intensity and richness of this variety's aromas to your recipes!

Quality raw materials

NOROHY vanilla beans are selected according to precise criteria such as moisture content, bean size and ripeness. In particular, Planifolia vanilla offers long, fat beans with low moisture content and characteristic aromas. VANIFUSION vanilla bean paste from Madagascar, like the majority of our range, is certified organic.

Made in France

NOROHY sends its vanilla beans from Madagascar to France. The beans are processed into vanilla paste in Tain l’Hermitage (26, Drôme). The beans are then ground, mixed with exhausted vanilla seeds and vanilla extract.

CSR commitments

NOROHY is committed on a daily basis to limiting its environmental impact and thus improving the living conditions of vanilla producers and processors. The cultivation of NOROHY vanilla respects the best practices of agroforestry and organic farming. In 2023, the brand also co-financed the construction of a bridge in the Morafeno region of Madagascar to improve access for the local population.
